An Evening of Poetry with English Poet William Ayot

TUESDAY, AUGUST 28 at 7:00 P.M.

“The Second Question:
Soul and Compassion in a Fractured World”

an evening of enjoyable and accessible poetry
with award-winning English poet

WILLIAM AYOT

Arthurian myth tells of Sir Parsival, who lost his way in life but rediscovered his compassion, and in so doing, found the Holy Grail. In a world of graceless conflict and deepening division, we too can lose touch with “our better angels.”

This entertaining and hopeful evening of poetry and conversation sees English poet William Ayot return to China Village to chart Sir Parsival’s inner journey from youthful numbness and naivety to empathy, understanding and kindness.

If you are a leader, a businessperson, an artist, a carer, a parent or a therapist – a person in recovery, or seeking wholeness in your life – if you are downright depressed or simply yearning for a kinder world, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.
