Artist Retrospectives

 

The Programming Committee of the Albert Church Brown Memorial Library is excited to invite you to participate in a new creative endeavor called “Artist Retrospective.” Beginning in January 2024 and extending through the year, we are inviting a Maine artist to display work in the library every 6 weeks. We would like to have a welcome reception where the artist may give a brief presentation about the art or art-form to patrons and be available for a few questions, but that is not mandatory. 

 

Our mission is to enrich our community while encouraging and supporting creative arts and processes. We do hope to show a variety of art, including but not limited to paintings, fiber,glass, pottery, sculpture, and photography. We do not plan to sell any pieces of art; however, we would recommend that if your art is for sale, you include a numbered list with prices and your contact information.
