Our Pandemic safety guidelines for the library have been determined by the Covid19 safety protocols established by the CDC, Maine State Library, and American Library Association and REALM testing of library materials. The Albert Church Brown Memorial Library has adapted them for the setting of its library to ensure the best safety measures for staff, patrons, and visitors. Thank you for cooperating with us so that we can keep our library open to the public.
When you enter the library we will ask you to use the hand sanitizer before you begin your browsing.
Masks are required by staff and patrons, even by vaccinated individuals until further notice.
Social distancing of 6 ft must be maintained.
Curbside pickup service is available for those who prefer not to come inside the building. You may also place a book on hold and we’ll get it checked out for you for a quick indoor pickup.
